Born on November 15, 1988 as Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., B.o.B. grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, a music scene that would leave an indelible mark on BoB’s music. The musician and record producer is currently signed to Grand Hustle Records, the label formed by T.I., distributed by Atlantic Records. Other Grand Hustle Records artists include Young Dro, DJ Drama, 8Ball, MJG and more of the days hottest hip hop stars. With star like this as friends, its no wonder that BoB tickets have become as hot as they have. B.o.B. got into the top of the music chats almost immediately, as his first two singles Nothin’ on You and Airplanes reached #1 and #2, respectively, in the US. hip hop

While in junior high, Simmons and cousin Swag made music with the help of Fruity Loops program. They started to perform in local clubs in the Atlanta region, eventually gaining a large fanbase. BoB claims early influences by DMX and Eminem. Coming up B.o.B. formed the group HamSquad along with Playboy Tre, TJ Chapman and B. Rich. Playing clubs in the Atlanta region, the first influential music personality to recognize the potential of B.o.B. was TJ Chapman, who witnessed the first live performance of Cloud 9 and decided to take the up-and-comer under his wing. TJ flew with BoB and B Rich to Miami to meet with producer Jim Jonsin, who immediately offered BoB a record deal. BoB was signed by Atlantic Records while still in high school.

The first national attention B.o.B. received was in 2008, when XXL Magazine named him part of the “Hip Hop Class of ’09,” along with Kid Cudi, Asher Roth, Wale and Charles Hamilton. Vibe joined in calling him one of hip hop’s up and comers in the same year. The first single that got the B.o.B. train running was Haterz Everywhere with Rich Boy, a remix of which was featured on Fight Night Round 4. Ever since that time BoB tickets have gotten more and more popular.

The first official B.o.B. single was I’ll Be in the Sky, and BoB was also featured on T.I.’s smash hit album Paper Trail on the single On Top of the World. The heavily-anticipated debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts and sold more than 84,000 copies in its first week. Hits from the debut album include Magic, Nothin’ on You and Airplanes. The album features a huge number of guest appearances from top-notch artists, including Lupe Fiasco, T.I., Playboy Tre, Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Bruno Mars and Eminem. BoB Awards has been nominated, and won, several awards in his short career. These include BET Awards, Teen Choice Awards, MTV Video Awards and more. Magic is also featured on an Adidas commercial.

SHOOTiN for Stars Tour

In 2010 B.o.B. announced The SHOOTiN for Stars Tour, bringing the star to some of the biggest venues across the U.S. and even international B.o.B. dates. Some of the cities the BoB Tour stops in include San Antonio, Beverly Hills, the Los Angeles House of Blues, Salt Lake City, Fresno, the Houston House of Blues, Washington DC, and Lewisburg, PA. And BoB UK tickets are on sale for a few different locations. These include BoB dates in Nottingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, two dates at London’s O2 Arena. Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester at the Evening News Arena.
